Cade C. Williamson President, Funeral Director & Owner

Cade is a 5th generation funeral service professional and owner of Legacy Funeral Home & Cremation Center and Wann Funeral Home & Cremation Center. He received his degree in Mortuary Science from John A. Gupton College in Nashville, Tennessee.

He is pleased to be able to present to our community the outstanding professionalism and kindness of our staffs, our modern and immaculate facilities and our unprecedented Signature Services Program.

Cade is a past master and member of Daisy Lodge #706 F&AM, Selected Independent Funeral Homes, The National Funeral Directors Association and The Tennessee Independent Funeral Group. He and his wife, Shawn, are the owners of Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center and are members of Dallas Bay Baptist Church. They have one son, Jacob.

Shawn M. Williamson Vice President, Funeral Director & Owner

Shawn received her Mortuary Science degree from John A. Gupton College in Nashville, Tennessee. She has been awarded the "Certified Preplanning Consultant" (CPC) designation. She is a member of the Daisy Woman's Club, Daisy Order of the Eastern Star #328, The National Funeral Directors Association, Selected Independent Funeral Homes and The Tennessee Independent Funeral Group. She and her husband, Cade, are the owners of Legacy Funeral Home & Cremation Center and Wann Funeral Home & Cremation Center and are members of Dallas Bay Baptist Church. They have one son, Jacob.

Anne Cotter Funeral Director

Anne Cotter is a native of Athens, TN. She graduated from McMinn County High School in 1986 and a 2012 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Decatur, GA. Anne knew at a young age that funeral service was her calling but few women pursued a career in the industry during the 1980s. In 2009, when the car industry took a down turn, she decided to go back to school for her passion. Anne started her apprenticeship at Bordwine Funeral Home in Etowah, TN after a year, she And her family moved to Mountain City, TN where she finished her 2nd year at Hux- Lipford Funeral Home. In the spring of 2012, Anne was recognized by the NFDA (National Funeral Directors Association) as one of the top up and coming female funeral directors for 2012. She was awarded one of five scholarships and was flown to Fort Myers, Florida to be recognized at the NFDA Professional Women's Conference. After graduation she went back home to work for Bordwine Funeral Home until 2016. Anne was offered a Manager's position at Walton Funeral Services in Indiana. She managed the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton, IN location where during this time she also received her Indiana Funeral Director license and her Certified Crematory Operator certification. Anne and her husband Damon have two sons, Johnathan (Brandy) and Clayton and are active members of Genesis Baptist Church in Athens. Anne was the Public Relations Coordinator for the McMinn County High School band, an active member of Boy Scout Troop 118 and Venture Crew 308. She and her husband worked with the McMinn County Humane Society where they ran a rescue for large breed dogs. Anne is happy to be joining the Legacy And Wann teams and is looking forward to serving the families in the area.

Frankie Pope Office Assistant

Frankie was born and raised in Soddy-Daisy. She married Larry Pope in 1975 and moved to St. Elmo. She retired from the insurance industry after more than 30 years of service.

She co-authored the St. Elmo Story from which the proceeds of that book started the painting and restoration of St. Elmo. Frankie feels honored to be able to serve the families of her home town and now the families of St. Elmo/Lookout Mountain.

She states, “I never thought working at a funeral home could bring you joy, but, when you can give someone with a broken heart any amount of comfort, it’s a blessing”.

She has been a part of the Wann/Legacy team since 2013.

Vernon Sneed Funeral Assistant

Vernon, a Soddy-Daisy native, joined our Legacy family in 2006. He is very active in local prison ministries, health care facility ministries and church ministries. Vernon and his wife, Linda, are members of Calvary Baptist Church. They reside in Soddy-Daisy.

Buddy Collier Funeral Assistant

Buddy is retired from Alstom Power after 44 years of service. He is very active in Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle where he is a deacon, Sunday School Teacher and serves in many other positions as needed.

Buddy has been married to his wife, Judy for 50 years. He is the father of Mike and Andy, the grandfather of Kristin Priest, Ryn Marie King and Harrison Collier. He is the  great-grandfather of Sophia Stubblefield and Zoey Priest.

Buddy and his wife, Judy have been working at Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center since October 2010 and enjoy doing their part in helping families during this painful time in their life.

Judy is retired from TVA with 19 years of service. She is also very active in Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle.

Judy and her husband, Buddy have been married for 50 years. She is the mother of Mike and Andy, the grandmother of Kristin Priest, Ryn Marie King and Harrison Collier. She is the great-grandmother of Sophia Stubblefield and Zoey Priest.

Judy and her husband, Buddy have been working at Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center since October 2010 and enjoy doing their part in helping families during this painful time in their life.

Charles Martin Funeral Assistant

Charles retired from the United States Marine Corps after 21 years of service. He is a member of Dallas Bay Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon.

Charles has been married to his wife Wilma for 50 years. He is the proud father of one son, three daughters, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Charles joined our Wann/Legacy team in 2012.

Barbara Chandler Advanced Funeral Planner

Barbara earned her degree from UTC in Home Economics. She has worked several years in social work and then property managment. She was previously employed as cemetery superintendent for almost 10 years. She has a love for dogs and horses.
